TL;DR - My Rant on Heroes vs. Hordes
- More Skill Expression - Leaderboards are dominated by big spenders, leaving no room for actual skill expression. The game needs a mode where skill matters.
- Shorter Events = More $$$ - The shift to 3-4 day mining events feels like a cash grab, making it harder for free-to-play players to earn rewards.
- Balancing Free-to-Play & Whales - Devs need to find a middle ground between monetization and keeping the player base engaged, or the game will shrink
🔥 Boss Brawl Rework - Bigger, Better, More Intense!
- New League & Leaderboard System: Now tracks ALL your runs, not just your highest score!
- New Stamina Mechanic: Heroes get exhausted the more they fight!
- Strategize Wisely: Rotate your heroes to keep them at full power and maximize damage!
- Faction/Hero Bonus: Each week features a faction and two specific heroes that deal extra damage!
- Main Rewards: Earn shards, orbs, and runestones as you dominate the battlefield!
- Rewards are now much more distributed between leaderboard ranks. Even if you aren't top 3, the rewards are meaningful.
- We have added participation rewards.
- Earn exchange tokens and change them for shards of your choice.
- League up if you are among the top 40% of the leaderboard and rank down if you are in the bottom 40% - this change should bring more movement and excitement into the mode.
