The short answer is yes, the Faction Passes for Warrior and Mechanist are worth it. But I try not to give direct financial advice... so let me say this about the Faction Wars passes:
- If you get the $20 pass, it's a credit towards the $50 one. So you can start small and go more.
- I did not buy the faction pass for Warrior League earlier, and I wish I had. I still have not bought it.
- You can star up heroes just fine without it.
- All that said, I think the $20 and $50 passes for Mechanist League and Warrior Guild are some of the best long-term value in the game after the No Ads pack.
You can absolutely beat the game without these, as I am proof 🙂
